Hey, I'm Charlie.
A little bit creative, a little bit chaotic.
I'm a newborn, family and wedding photographer based in Astwood Bank, Redditch, working with families and couples across Worcestershire and Warwickshire. Mother of three, ADHD & caffeine fuelled creative, plant collector, book lover, occasional witchy-woo enthusiast and serial starter of new hobbies.
I love music far too loud, own more crystals than any reasonable person probably needs, can disappear into a new obsession without warning and firmly believe life is much better when you don't take yourself too seriously.
I've been behind my camera in one way or another for over a decade now. After leaving school and working in a little print shop & photo studio, taking a few career detours and side hustles, a few years ago life gave me a not-so-gentle shove back to my creative roots.
Now I get to spend my days documenting families, tiny new humans, wildly-in-love couples and all of the beautifully imperfect life happening around them.
And yes, there is usually coffee involved.
Most of my newborn and baby sessions happen in my home studio in Astwood Bank, while family sessions and weddings take me all over Worcestershire and Warwickshire.
My own life is wonderfully chaotic and full of surprises - which is probably why I'm not interested in photographing only the polished, perfect version of yours.
Bring me the chaos. Bring me the kids that don't sit still, the nervous laughter, weather that doesn't cooperate and people who insist they're "awkward in photos" - spoiler, I don't believe it when people tell me this for a second. I love a challenge.
This is where the good stuff lives.
You don't need to know what to do in front of my camera.
You just need to turn up as yourselves.

I'm drawn to the moments in-between. The belly laughs, scrunched up noses, tiny hands reaching for yours, windswept hair, happy tears & the stories happening quietly in the background while everyone else is looking the other way.
My approach to newborn, family and wedding photography is relaxed, intuitive and very go-with-the-flow. I'll give you direction when you need it, but I'm never interested in forcing you into stiff poses or making you wish you were anywhere except in front of a camera. I just want you making memories with your people, while I photograph the good stuff.
Because the photographs you'll treasure most probably won't be the perfectly posed ones - it's the ones that take you straight back to how that moment felt.
